Architectural-Inspired Stay Near Singaporean Entertainment Hot Spot

Wake up to the twinkling city nightscape or urban architectural jigsaws of the Merlion’s business and entertainment district when you pull back the airy curtains of your classical Superior Room stay. Smoothing the earthy tones against marble black and leopard prints, your chamber opens up to the softly-padded corridors which are quietly-lit with vintage lamps, guiding your footsteps and wandering gazes. As you stand at the sprawling lobby that is awash under the Singaporean sunlight, your ventures around the nooks and crannies of this award-winning hotel bring you side-by-side with her century-old designs melded in perfect marriage with elegant modern finishes.

Singapore: Up-Close Views from Above, Quay-side, and Within Gardens

Map out the hub of Lonely Planet’s list of most stylish shopping centres and restaurants in Southeast Asia as you ascend 165 metres above Straits level on the TripAdvisor-approvedFerris wheel, the Singapore Flyer. Experience fluttery feelings as you hover over the highways, harbours, and the human masses while ticking off the cruise points of your Singapore River run past the festive Clarke Quay, laidback Robertson Quay, and larger-than-life Marina Bay. Then, end your Singaporean fling with a garden tea party amongst the colonial floras by the bay. Garnering local pride as well as international applause, the Gardens catch your eyes with its fields of Amaranths, baobab, and the odd sea urchin or two as you explore the cooling interiors of the eggshell-like glasshouse of the Flower Dome.

Singapore Flyer: The Singapore Flyer, is similar to many other rotating wheels, that have an observation deck on each of the capsules. But this is the best in the part of the world. The Flyer enabled me to enjoy the rapid development and to view the harbour, Golf Courses, Parks, Buildings, river, and the sea… all from the comfort of an air conditioned capsule which took 30 mins to complete the rotation. – Oct 14, 2013

Singapore River: You would never know that now as it is one of the nicest urban river walks I have ever experienced. There are several commercial quays along the river that break up your walk with the opportunity to duck into restaurants and shops. If you are in Singapore, it is worth taking a stroll along the river. – Jul 6, 2013

Gardens By The Bay: We were not prepared for how good the attraction was as we thought we would be there for an hour or so, and ended up staying for more than 4 hours. It would be good to plan your visit mid afternoon so you could be there for the light show in the evening. There was do much to see and the views from the skywalk were fantastic. It us an attraction that does Singapore proud. The two galleries were different and the waterfalls and plants from all over the world were amazing. – Oct 16, 2013
