Directions:

  • Threading:
    • Drawing the lisle softly from the bobbin and thread it from winding A, and put it in the tension controller B. Then thread it through the winding C. Putting the top of the lisle beside the needle, and thread the lisle through the needle by using the threader (2-3cm)
    • Lift up the clothe fastening plate with right forefinger and place the cloth under the fastening plate before setting it down
    • Press the top of the machine up and down repeatedly, the right hand should move to right step by step; use the left hand to control the direction of the cloth
    • The bolt is adjustable for optimal habitus with the use of the adjust nut
  • Replace Winding: Drawing prolate distaff and thread spindle if you want to change a big clew. After re-threading and readjusting the tightness of the lisle, you can sew again
  • Replace Needle: Loose the setscrew with a screwdriver and take off the old needle. Place the flat part of needle against the setscrew
